away for a few days with my hubby (work) @ The Grand

ahhhh...total relaxation

a very hot but fun morning...

...spending the morning with neices and

having a great time.

Walls that keep me on the side of truth

Walls that keep me from being of the world

Walls that keep me from healing others

Walls that I place in my life

Walls that I do not wish to climb

Walls that will heal my soul

"home" milestones....

.....a brief stop for gas and I was on my way home.

Home where I grew up.

Home that continues to nourish my soul.

Home where my parents reside.

.....so many miles separate me from home,

and it’s all so exciting when I begin to travel East.

Most excursions leading home in the past
afforded me sleep or reading.

Hub does all the driving
as he isn’t one to sit in the passenger’s seat.

Reflecting back
as I was steering the wheel behind my little ride,

I was reminded that my focus
must always be on the direction.

You see…I’m not as familiar with the direction

…only with several milestones.

The land changes as I travel

from Alabama thru Georgia and onto South Carolina

…all the way to Bville.

Nine and a half hours of travel

looking for my “home” milestones

and regarding all of God’s beauty.
