Being a mother has been one of the best blessings in my life from God.

The forethought and expectancy of motherhood

as a young wife was excitement and joy

harnessed by absolute fear. 

This fear of a life change from wife to mother

blossomed into another kind of fear.

Fear of being responsible for another’s life…

a small wee one that would need love, nurturing and

guidance in his life. 

Motherhood has been a wonderful adventure

much like a roller coaster.

Ups and downs in this journey

reminded me of my complete trust in God.

I’m not perfect in motherhood or

any other part of my life journey but

I am secure in my heart.

A heart that is bursting with love

for having had the privilege

of this adventurous blessing called “Motherhood”.

I am so looking forward to a couple of days by myself. Most would not enjoy but I treasure these times. It has been a long time since I've had the house to myself. Of course, sweet Ginger is here with me. She, however, spends most of her days sleeping. Perhaps I shall...
