It is now the second session of aquacise, and it's so much fun. Our class has perhaps twenty people who exercise together for approximately 70 minutes. We have a wonderful leader who guides us thru the program.

me and my little piggies were at PCB enjoying a week of relaxation with the hubs.

a little tumbling of the waves on Monday

It has been a bit overcast everyday with drizzles here and there. Wednesday was a nice day to sit on the beach and watch the crashing of the waves with beautiful, unusual skies.

a rolling mist across the ocean & sand

 and I love piers.

New Year's Eve~Beach Ball Drop

We always go over to Pier Park around 5:30 and eat our supper at Buffalo Wild Wings where we can watch some football while we are eating. The bands begin playing somewhere around 6 or so.

This year rain was predicted, and it came just lightly until about 7:30...right before the beach balls were to drop for the children. With a slight pause in the rain we walked back to the condo to get into dry clothes and warm up a bit.

From the condo we could hear the "Countdown to the Ball Drop" for the kids. We also had the advantage of viewing their "Fireworks Show" from the condo. Other years we have only viewed from the ground. It was exciting...I know the children enjoy this excitement! (And I did too!!!)
(Despite my sleeveless attire,
it was a bit chilly in the breezeway.)

As we waited for midnight, we watched football games in the condo as it was still drizzling a bit. Around 11:45 we geared up for a stroll down to the beach to watch the "Happy New Year" Fireworks Show over the ocean. PCB puts on the BEST EVER FIREWORKS SHOW!!!
