When hubs retired in March of this year after almost 41 years at the Dothan Housing Authority, the DHA Board of Commissioners established the "Glenn Franklin Academic Scholarship" in his honor. He retired as Executive Director.

Two young ladies were selected to receive scholarships. The $1000 scholarships were presented on Monday, July 24th by Glenn. Both ladies will begin pursuing their nursing degrees at Wallace Community College.

One of the young ladies was Tatiana Barrett. She attended Grandview Elementary School in K & First Grade when I was employed at Grandview. Tiffany, her mother, worked alongside Glenn.
