It's been a long while since Glenn and I had the opportunity to leave town for relaxation. He's had some business trips but that's different. It's also been a long time since the two of us have visited my mom together. Guess where we are heading?  {smile}

Glenn was so sweet to say he would plan and go with me for a visit. He's just that way.

The ride is long...9+ hrs; however, there are many sights along the way that have become so special to me bringing me to smile and look forward to seeing them. Crops, men in Sparta...

...and how could you not check out the clouds along the way. Wow!

We spent time with Frank & Ann Saturday morning and enjoyed being together. The pond area is still a favorite place for walking. Me...not going around the pond...snakes & other creatures.

Dad's old yellow truck...awwwww, the memories. And Frank showed me his memories on the truck.

...and I survived!

With the purchase of their new home still under construction, Hannah was able to meet with the Interior Designer and select exterior paint colors for gables/shutters/door/trim, interior paint colors, lighting, flooring and make any necessary changes they desired.

I had the pleasure of accompanying Hannah to this meeting along with her mother. It was such an exciting time for me as I watched my DIL make choices for the home that would be my sons and hers.
