Here Comes the Sun!

Oh my!

 

 Tonight as I walked around the yard

I was reminded of my dad bringing four o-clock plants

so we could plant them in my yard.

They bloom so beautifully!

Dad loved to serve up food to his family...burgers, hot dogs. His birthday was just three days after Independence Day. Getting together to share birthdays, holidays or just "plain old days" was something he loved. 

He was always ready for a good time.

Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad!

One of my favorite things to do as I am driving or riding in a car is to observe. I have the most fun wondering "Why? or How?". Your imagination can be put to the test.

Glenn & I were invited to attend 

the Grand Opening of the

COACH JOHNNY OPPERT

ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT FACILITY

this past Tuesday morning at Wallace Community College.

Glenn attended WCC & played basketball while there under the leadership of Coach Oppert. Coach was instrumental in Glenn obtaining a basketball scholarship to Lander College in Greenwood, SC.

Years before Glenn retired, Coach served as one of his Commissioners on the Dothan Housing Authority's Board. He and Glenn have remained friends over the years since WCC.
