Meet our new “Grand-Fur”…Romeo

He is one year old and weighs around 5 lbs.

He and his sister, Angel, 
are ready to brave the cooler weather 
in their new winter coats.

Angel is our grand-fur and staying with us while her parents are celebrating their Sixth Anniversary at PCB.

Angel weighs 5 teeny-tiny pounds. She is 3 years old. She loves to be cuddled.

and she loved watching our card game.

this piece...

took my breath

For some time I had been looking for a piece of furniture to house my craft supplies, pictures, etc. I had an open piece of furniture with four shelves. Even though I tried to keep it straightened, it looked messy and was a dark piece. I wanted to lighten the area up a bit.

When I found this piece, I just knew. However, I left it at the store that day...only to return a couple of days later to look again. This time I checked it out more thoroughly. To my surprise, I found where the owner had written a scripture verse on the bottom of the top drawer wood.  

 I purchased the piece this very day. I love the way my workspace looks.

...a 4:15AM alarm sound, and we are up to get ready to drive to Pensacola, Florida to catch our flight to Austin, Texas. It's our annual AJG trip.

Pensacola to Houston to Austin

We arrived Sunday at the Omni to learn of these two golf tournaments being played and to be played. The finals of the 29th PGA Cup were at presentation time, and the 31st Senior PGA Professional Championship would begin Thursday. ***USA won the PGA Cup.

And then a friend told me that the home across from the Omni was the home of Sandra Bullock.

Austin to Dallas to Pensacola

Ok...so, said neighbor told me some years ago when I began speaking of wanting to downsize housing..."NO, you can not move!!!" And guess who moved this past Sunday...far away...her!😏

Our neighbor of 27 years moved to be closer to two of her sons and their families. This is a wonderful move for her, and I lovingly encouraged this move. I will miss her terribly but we look forward to "road trips" between Huntsville & Dothan.

It became real when I turned 

onto Foxfire this past Friday morning.
