Eight long years, yet it seems like yesterday I touched your face to tell you that I loved you. To tell you how blessed I have been that you, Frank G Goodwin, Jr, was chosen to be my earthly father. In my heart…you smiled.

I have missed you in my life.

How many times did we walk this path to explore the land? Remember "The Jungle" sign...Tyler & Samuel made that sign that probably has fallen from the tree where it was nailed. They loved to walk these paths with you too.

You made sure areas (where we always walked) were cleaned from branches. You loved to take us to "show us" where you worked and what you found. You loved the land. You would work all day long just...….piddling.

What I would give to walk down this path and see you working!

Pa was a great example.

Eight years ago he and I had a wonderful week of good conversation, traipsing through the woods and just being together. It was a time where he reached deep into his soul to connect with me, his daughter.  How my heart leapt with joy!
