to the one who is timid and stands among others as her mind races with comparison comments meant as conversation talk allowing said one to feel outside the realm of any possible true friendship...my heart aches...along with hers.

Congratulations & Best Wishes

These two guys are getting married within a month of each other. They are brothers. 

The oldest, Payne, will marry Makayla on November 14th. She is a GRITS from South Carolina... Chesterfield. Logan will marry Sarah on December 12th. She is from Dothan.

We have been good friends with Tim & Pam for many years. Our hubs love Auburn and have purchased basketball season tickets together for a number of years.

Celebrating their upcoming weddings today around the pool with an outdoor gathering of family & friends.

Today…Was a busy, busy

    day for us. We got started around 8AM

          cleaning the yard at his dad’s.

    Then…We drove

   back home to work in our yard. 

When…all was almost done outside,

         i moved to WORK inside. Laundry,

                 bathrooms cleaned and

     fresh linen & towels.

                  Now…showered & clean,

   i grabbed my bag and head to get us

            groceries.

                           Finally…

We end our day with grilled pork chops,

       potato romanoff, peas & cornbread.

              And, F2 does a “drive-thru” for their meal.

 

    HAPPY LABOR DAY!

We have cooked most of our meals during this pandemic time. We have grilled, baked and fried. We have made dishes from old recipes and new ones. Some were even "keepers"! We even ordered food a couple of times from fast food restaurants.

On Friday of last week hubs asked what we were having for supper. Hmmmm.....what will we have? This...no. This...no. How about this...no. We both could not think of a thing we wanted. 

Then I said, "You are in charge next week of our meals. Better yet, let's eat out every day next week.". 

Guess what week we are having.....Fast Food Week!!!

Now guess what...I have probably gained more than 5 lbs 😜, and it was so much fun for us. I am actually looking forward to cooking next week.
