Thank you Heavenly Father for our safe travels

to and from the Smoky Mountains and

all the riding we did throughout the park and towns. 

Monday, October 9th we flew to San Diego, California for a week of fun with our AHARM family. From the states of AL-LA-KY-MS-OH-TN we began our time at the Marriot on Coronado Island with a reception & dinner.

A brunch & zoo trip for the spouses & guests was enjoyed.

 From the city lights across the ocean to the lobster seekers, 

our evening at Peohe's was fabulous.

The USS Midway Museum was a wonderful treat and brought back the memories I have of sitting on the bed with dad sharing his many memories of serving our country in the Navy. So proud of the times that dad & I talked about his service.

As we made our way back to the Marriot on our buses, we stopped at Hotel del Coronado for a short walk-thru. Built in 1888 it is one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world.

Our time together was concluded with an outdoor evening buffett by the ocean. We love these special times with our AHARM family.

Glenn & I remained another day in California as our friends made their way back to their home states. We spent the day at the zoo and loved every minute.

Always a great time!

We had a wonderful visit.

Mom got a haircut and continues her walking exercise.

Frank & I spent an afternoon 

building two shelf inserts 

for Glenn's business closet.

We had the best time.

a wonderful sunrise through the woods' trees.

Glenn & I enjoyed a few days with friends as he attended the AAHRA Convention on the Gulf Coast. Our days were filled with meetings, shopping & dining. We had a wonderful time with even a time for rest & relaxation.

We finally made it. Back in 2020, right when COVID was gearing up, we had reservations. We cancelled because of the unknown of the virus.
