Happy Anniversary

Hubby & I celebrate 45 Years.

 

 

 

We will enjoy some time together in October

at Hunter's Hideaway in the mountains.

 

 

Every day around our supper time

we have been enjoying the many, many birds

that come for their supper in our backyard.

Sparrows, hummingbirds, doves, cardinals.

 

We have seen more cardinals this year than previous years.

 Male and female...its just been amazing.

 

 I will always be in awe of sunrises & sunsets.

I found this drawing in an old notebook

of a time when Glenn & I were at the beach.

 

Opposite page, I had written the following words...

 

"On the sandy beach I sit with pen, pad & music

drowning thoughts."

 

Diane & I were in the backyard talking when we became aware of the unusual sunset sky. It was as if a fire had erupted across the way. We just stood there quiet for the moment. It was such a wonderful sight to see. We went and got Glenn so he could share in this beauty with us.

 

Before I left for SC my calendar was full. I had no time to put up white peas. I sure was hoping they would last until I returned...and they did.

Glenn & I put up peas today.
