Back to Early Morning Sunrises.....

 

always a reminder

~ beauty in the imperfect ~

The whistling of air,

the whoosh of branches 

call to announce 

a drop in temperature 

to the point of freezing.

Wind chimes 

play their spirited melody 

luring ones to appear

to the outside

for the dance of the cold.

~ shiver fun ~

Tuesday morning when I arrived at the unit to work

I knew I was in for a "feast" of donated books

Over 12 crates (shown below) were full of books.

The large green container totes were full of books.

The Sams freezer tote was full of books.

It was crazy!!!

My work table was full so

I opened up the back of my vehicle to lay

sorted boxes of various authors.

Only 6 more weeks before 

the FOL Book Sale Preview Night for members.

Yours is the smile

I look forward to each morning,

and yours is the voice

I love to hear throughout the day.

Yours is the touch

that can reach my heart and soul,

and it is your understanding 

that so often calms

my doubts and fears...

Yours are the plans

and dreams

that blend with mine,

becoming ours,

and yours is the love

that means the world to me.

My life would be so different

if you weren't a part of it,

and that is why no one

has more to celebrate today

than I do...
