played so hard today

in the backyard.

Then they napped for over an hour.

back on track

 

you were tired, needing breaths, resting

while I was peeling mangoes

but we finally spoke

and enjoyed the time

as you snacked on your favorite cookie

Our walks begin with small talk, and then we walk in the quiet. As we follow the path and look at the surroundings, we point out interesting sights.
 
Sunday was a walk-turner for me. Glenn was playing golf with Garrett so I walked alone. As I was approaching a certain bench where I would turn-around, I encountered this fella. Needless to say, I made an early quick turn-around. 

 

Today as we were walking, this slow-moving walker was taking a shortcut thru the grass.

We love our days.

 Every day is an adventure.

 In childhood I would lie on the ground and look to the sky. What would the clouds offer? Would I see a dog, a bear…what? Trees, much like clouds, can create wild images in your mind too. What about landscapes, old barns, old cars? What do you see as your mind creates? What do you think about?
