All I wanted to do this weekend was

put up my Christmas tree but.....

the yards needed to be raked of pine straw,

flower beds dressed with pine straw,

plants housed or covered for the expected frost,

clothes ironed and put up,

house cleaned and readied for Christmas Bears

and for expected guests,

and finally trimming the tree.
