I am...

I am from a small town having lived my childhood on a dead-end street underneath pecan (pea-can) trees.

From a group of kids who knew how to play outside…in the fallen leaves and on tire swings or with imagination running wild through play performances.

I am from hard working stock with experience in yard work, gardening, fencing, and housework.

From morning to evening spearheaded by Patriarch Pa working hours flee as joy of family togetherness abounds.

From our family memories we knit together.

I am from a small town now living in a big town under pines.

I am from a family of three with love of my life and son of my heart and preciousness of a sixteen-plus, deaf Pomeranian, Ginger.

From “ducks in a row”, “get it together” to joy of relaxing and just being, we embrace our individuality for a melting pot of shared loves.

I am from Creator God who loves this sinner, who has written my life and who guides and leads me in my walk.

So I say a prayer of thankfulness for where I have been and for God’s blessings on my life.
