With the exception of my mother, Elise, we are all cousins. Mother is the daughter of J.T. and Fannie Belle Jones.
After arriving, we spent a few moments saying our "hellos".
Then it was time to eat...
We lunched on corn salad, amish potato salad, regular potato salad, chicken salad, deviled eggs, crackers, millionaire pie, cream puffs, chocolate covered puffs, banana pudding...oh my, I can't remember any more. Trust me though...I can tell you that ALL of the dishes were delicious.
We had such a good time sitting around the table and talking of family memories.
Nancy and Sara had brought photographs which made us smile, laugh, and remember. Nancy took pictures of some of the photos, and mother took pictures home for scanning. Lots of fun looking at the old photographs and hearing the stories relating to the pictures.
We all had a great time and look forward to another get-together.
