Gardening requires lots of water -
most of it in the form of perspiration.
~Lou Erickson~

This statement is so true...especially these summer months.

I have spent a lot of our quarantine time
in the yard cleaning, papering & laying pine straw
in our flower beds. Shrubs & trees have been trimmed or cut.
Plants have been repotted or replanted.

A couple of days were spent at F2s creating
a long flower bed at the back of the house.
Calla lilies, water irises & society garlic in the corners
and daylilies & moss rose along the back fence...
Brown mulch finishes out the look.

New patio chairs were purchased & the side tables
and glider were repainted. Slats on the glider were re-stained.
The front porch was updated with a new bench cushion
that matches the navy & ecru pillows that were already there.

Items in the shed that were no longer useful were thrown away.
A friend came over to peruse through some garden items.
F2 went through their items to keep or throw away.
Then...the shed was reorganized.

The garage was swept through & reorganized.
The pipe under the sink was replaced.

It's been a hot one with lots of water breaks.
It's been tough when you tried to "finish" the project
and ended up almost passing out.

Oh to make it to the den floor,
lying flat-out under the fan on high speed.
