Forever thankful for my life’s journey

which could never be

what I desire

because of my love for Christ.

His Desire and Will is

and always will be my lead,

and I am so eternally grateful

that I am learning to follow

without challenge

to what is laid before me.

Imbedded upon my heart

are the quiet

but strong truths

that whisper ever so gently

to tighten the flowing ribbons

of founded obedience

and draw me back

and closer

to the foundation

upon which I stand.
